For the Potatoes
- Place a pot of water on the stove to boil.
- Add the baby potatoes and cook them until they are sufficiently tender to be pierced easy with a fork.
- Preheat a griddle over medium heat.
- Transfer the boiled potatoes onto the griddle, using a spatula to firmly press each potato down, smashing them into a flattened shape.
- Drizzle additional olive oil over the potatoes and season them with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Continue to cook, flipping occasionally, until each potato is crispy on both sides.
For the Steak
- While the potatoes are cooking, prepare the steak by cutting it into bite-sized cubes.
- Place the cubes on a different area of the griddle. Season liberally with steak seasoning and cook, turning occasionally
For the Garlic Butter
- Once the steak is cooked, educe the heat of the griddle.
- Add the butter and minced garlic to the steak, stirring continuously to coat the steak bites in the garlic butter mixture
Final Assembly
- Once the potatoes are crispy, sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese over them, allowing the heat to melt the cheese.
- Finish by scattering the chopped green onions over both the steak and potatoes.
- Serve immediately while hot.
- Enjoy!
