Meet Our Farmer:
Don Roblee
Don had been working for Tyler, the owner of McCormick Hill Farm, since shortly after it began in 2023, but previously worked under Tyler at Sweetie Boy Transportation since 2011. Don has been an integral part of the farm’s journey and why we are here today. With a background steeped in agriculture, Don grew up around farming and has a deep-rooted passion for it. His brother-in-law owns a dairy farm in western New York, further connecting him to the farming community.
Don is enthusiastic about McCormick Hill Farm’s mission to serve a niche market through the farm to restaurant and farm to table movements. He is committed to ensuring the freshest, highest quality produce and meats are delivered straight from our pastures to our customers’ plates. Don is excited to contribute to the farm’s growth and to help shape the future of sustainable, locally sourced food.

Ted and Theo
Ted and Theo are a dedicated father-and-son duo with a combined farming experience of over a century—Ted has been farming for 63 years, and Theo for 38 years. Together, they own and operate Piedmont Grain, a business built on passion and commitment.
Ted’s Journey: Ted’s love for grain farming began with the real satisfaction he found in growing crops to feed people. This passion has driven him throughout his extensive career, shaping his approach to sustainable and quality farming.
Theo’s Path: Growing up alongside his father, Theo naturally gravitated towards farming. Helping out on the farm from a young age, he couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Like his father, Theo finds immense satisfaction in cultivating crops that nourish communities.
