- Combine Ground Beef and chili powder.
- In a large pot, brown ground beef, onion, jalapeño, and garlic. Drain excess fat.
- Add in cumin, green bell pepper, crushed tomatoes, red kidney beans, diced tomatoes, beef broth, beer, tomato paste, brown sugar, salt and pepper and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 45-60 minutes or until chili has reached desired thickness.
- Top with cheddar cheese, green onions, sour cream, cilantro or your other favorite toppings.
